1. The steel needle must be fully inserted into the soil when measuring.
2, avoid strong sunlight directly on the sensor and lead to high temperature. Pay attention to lightning protection for field use.
3, do not bend the steel needle violently, do not pull the sensor lead wire, do not fall or hit the sensor violently.

1. Quick measurement method
Select the appropriate measuring site, avoid stones, ensure that the needle will not encounter hard objects, in accordance with the required depth of measurement away from the surface soil, maintain the original tightness of the soil below, hold the sensor vertically inserted into the soil, do not shake around when inserted, a small range of a measurement point is recommended to measure the average number of times.

Dig a pit with a diameter of more than 20cm vertically, insert the sensor steel needle horizontally into the wall of the pit at a given depth, fill the pit tightly, and stabilize it for a period of time, so that continuous measurement and recording can be carried out for several days, months or even longer.
