Water quality EC sensor measures EC in water. EC (Electric Conductivity) is the Chinese name for Conductivity, which refers to the ability of conducting current in a water body. In water quality monitoring, electrical conductivity is one of the important indicators to reflect water quality. When the conductivity value of water is higher, the conductivity is better, the TDS value of water is larger, TDS value represents the content of dissolved impurities in water, the greater the TDS value, indicating the content of impurities in water is larger, on the contrary, the smaller the impurity content of water, the lower the conductivity.
It can be seen that electrical conductivity plays an important role in water quality monitoring. Inspectors can preliminarily determine the water quality by the size of the conductivity, and then adopt different water treatment schemes.
In order to monitor the conductivity of water, we generally use water quality EC sensor, also known as water quality conductivity sensor. Water conductivity sensor as a professional measurement of the conductivity of solution monitoring instrument, often used in section water quality, aquaculture, sewage treatment, environmental protection, pharmaceutical, food and tap water and other aqueous solution conductivity value of continuous monitoring.
Water quality EC sensor can be divided into electrode type EC sensors, inductive type EC sensors and ultrasonic EC sensors according to different measuring principles. Electrode type EC sensor adopts resistance measurement method according to the principle of electrolytic conductivity; Inductance EC sensor can measure the conductivity of liquid according to the principle of electromagnetic induction. Ultrasonic EC sensors measure conductivity according to ultrasonic changes in liquid. The first two sensors are widely used.
JXCT water quality EC sensor will use electrode type conductivity measurement method, built-in high-precision sensor measurement accuracy, the conductivity measurement range between 0 ~ 20000μS/cm, and the electrode constant is different to measure the range is also different: When the electrode constant K = 1, the measurement range is 0-2000 μs/cm, and the resolution is 0.1 μs/cm.
